    Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Think Talk Write terhadap Pembelajaran Menulis Teks Deskripsi di Kelas VII SMP Kota Jambi

    Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran think talk write (TTW) terhadap pembelajaran menulis teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII K SMP Negeri 16 Kota Jambi berdasarkan aspek struktur teks dan kaidah kebahasaan teks deskripsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis eksperimen. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII K sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling (PS). Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan data tes unjuk kerja (sebagai data utama). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis teks deskripsi siswa dari hasil posttest lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan hasil pretest. Tinjauan ini didasarkan pada rata-rata skor posttest memperoleh rata-rata 76,25 dengan KKM mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia 70. Berbeda dengan kemampuan menulis teks deskripsi dari nilai pretest yang memproleh rata-rata sebesar 57,18. Setelah dilakukan analisis data dan uji hipotesis dengan bantuan SPSS 21, maka diperoleh signifikansi atau sig sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima atau ada perbedaan signifikan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa antara pembelajaran konvensional dengan model pembelajaran think talk write (TTW) dalam pembelajaran menulis teks deskripsi siswa SMP Negeri 16 Kota Jambi. Saran yang dapat diajukan adalah memaksimalkan penggunaan model pembelajaran sehingga mampu meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa. Salah satunya dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran think talk write (TTW).   Kata Kunci : think talk write, teks deskripsi Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of the think talk write (TTW) learning model on the learning of writing descriptive texts for VII K grade students of SMP Negeri 16 Jambi City based on the aspects of the text structure and the language rules of the descriptive text. This study uses a quantitative method with this type of experiment. The research design used was One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The object in this study was class VII K as an experimental class which was taken using purposive sampling (PS) technique. The research data were obtained through observation, interviews, documentation and performance test data (as the main data). The results showed that the students' ability to write descriptive texts from the posttest results was higher than the pretest results. This review is based on the average posttest score obtaining an average of 76.25 with the KKM in Indonesian subjects 70. In contrast to the ability to write descriptive texts from the pretest score which has an average of 57.18. After analyzing the data and testing the hypothesis with the help of SPSS 21, a significance or sig of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained. So it can be concluded that Ha is accepted or there is a significant difference in the average student learning outcomes between conventional learning and think talk write (TTW) learning models in learning to write descriptive texts of students at SMP Negeri 16 Jambi City. Suggestions that can be submitted are to maximize the use of learning models so as to improve students' writing skills.     The main goal of learning speaking is to build conversational skills of learners. Learning speaking is a learning process that aims to enable students to understand and apply the forms of act follow oral language-related aspects of intellectual, factual information, emotional attitude. The formulation of learning objectives speaking is in separable from effective aspects, cognitive, and motor. Curriculum 2013 with a scientific approach mandates that every part of learning should support the establishment of three competencies at the same time, the attitude, knowledge, and skills. This purpose can be achieved best when learning to talk hosted by the approach and the right strategy. The ability to speak the learners needed to be stimulated with the ability to demonstrate the skill of speaking. Student centered learning means the students are conditioned to dominate the activity of speaking. Scientific approach to problem-based learning to speak, emphasizing the activity of speaking learners to solve the problem posed by the teacher. Activity speaking learners are shown in each stages of the process of solving the problem, namely: 1) the stage of conveying an idea; 2) the stage of presentation of the known facts; 3) the stage of studying the learning issues; 4) the stage of the action plan; 5) evaluation.     Pengembangan Materi Wacana Iklan Layanan Masyarakat Mata Kuliah Wacana di prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FKIP Universitas Jambi

    Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan materi mata kuliah Wacana di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Jambi. Penelitian pengembangan didasarkan kesulitan mahasiswa dalam menganlisis wacana. Dalam penelitian pengambangan ini dilengkapi dnegan berbgaai contoh wacana iklan yang sering ditemui oleh mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: 1) penilaian ahli meteri yang mencakup aspek kesesuaian isi, kalayakan bahasa, kelayakan penyajian, kontekstual memperoleh rata-rata skor 88.4175; 2) hasil ahli desain 86.768; 3) uji coba perorangan terhadap 3 orang mahasiswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata mencapai 87.81 dengan kategori valid; 4) hasil uji coba terbatas terhadap 38 responden mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Jambi semester 5 diperoleh presentase rata-rata N-Gain kognitif 0.58 dan Psikomotor 0.53. Materi yang dilengkapi dengan contoh iklan layanan masyarakat yang sering ditemui mahasiswa ini menujukkan bahwa materi sebagai bahan ajar diperlukan mahasiswa sebagai panduan dalam menganalisis wacana iklan layanan masyarakat.   Kata Kunci: Pengembangan materi, wacana iklan   Abstract This study aims to develop the Discourse course materie in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Jambi. Development research is based on students' difficulties in analyzing discourse. In this floating research, it is completed with examples of advertising discourse that is often encountered by students. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded as follows: 1) evaluation of material experts which includes aspects of content suitability, language suitability, presentation eligibility, contextuality obtain an average score of 88,4175; 2) the design expert results 86,768; 3) individual trials of 3 students received an average score of 87.81 with a valid category; 4) the results of a limited trial of 38 respondents of the Language and Literature Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Jambi semester 5 obtained an average percentage of cognitive N-Gain 0.58 and Psychomotor 0.53. The materie, which is equipped with examples of public service advertisements that are often encountered by students, shows that the materie as teaching material is needed by students as a guide in analyzing public service advertisement discourse.   Keywords: Materie development, advertisement discours

    Pengaruh Media Audiovisual Terhadap Hasil Belajar Menulis Teks Berita Kelas XI SMA Negeri 10 Kota Jambi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh media audio visual dalam pembelajaran menulis teks berita siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 10 Kota Jambi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan One Group Pretest-Posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh murid kelas XI SMA Negeri 10 Kota Jambi. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu siswa kelas F1 yang berjumlah 35 orang siswa. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan uji homogenitas, uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis. Dari hasil data dengan cara uji hipotesis maka menunjukkan nilai sig (2 tailed) = 0,00 < 0,05 sesuai dengan kriteria uji t tes jika sig (2 tailed) lebih kecil dari 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dapat diketahui, adanya pengaruh media audiovisual terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 10 Kota Jambi. Dengan hasil nilai rata- rata sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan mengalami peningkatan dari 63,4 menjadi 76,3. Kata Kunci: Audio visual, hasil belajar, menulis teks berita

    The Enactment of Online Learning for Special Need Students during COVID 19 Pandemic: A Case Study

    The present study focuses on the implement of online learning in special education and how Information and Telecommunications Technology being used to strengthen and support the achievement of learning and the learning goals at special needs junior high school students (SMPLB) Jambi. The research method used in this study is a case study where the researchers observe how the patterns and processes of online education in the learning of SMPLB students, distributing questionnaires on the use of ICT to the teachers, interviews with parents/guardians of the students, and interviews with special junior high school teacher Sri Soedewi Maschun Sofyan, S.H Jambi. The results of the research indicate that the students in special needs schools have difficulty in obtaining technology that suits with their needs in learning. The learning process cannot be carried out as expected because the teachers have difficulty in making technology-based learning materials for the students, especially for students with the deaf and the blind. Reading and writing skills are also very limited, and the student learning is very low because the online method greatly limits opportunities for direct interaction between the students and the teachers. The involvement of parental assistance is also very low because the parents do not understand how to aid with children in online learning

    PENALARAN DALAM TULISAN EKSPOSITIF SISWA KELAS X SMK NEGERI 5 KABUPATEN TEBO

    Abstact   The purpose of this studi is to describe reasoning in the expositive writings of students of class X SMK Negeri 5 Kabupaten Tebo based on the types of reasoning, namely: (1) inductive reasoning and (2) deductive reasoning. This research uses quantitative descriptive method. The population of this study are the students of class X SMK Negeri 5 Kabupaten Tebo consisting of 4 classes with 104 students. The sampling technique was randomized using a random proportional sampling method. The sample used is 25% of 104 students is 26 students. The results show that reasoning in expositive writing is considered good quality criterion. This is evident from both reasoning elements: (1) the reasoning of induction includes: (1) generalized induced reasoning in expository paragraphs, (2) reasoning of inductions by analogy in expository paragraph, (3) (2) deductive reasoning in the expository paragraph, and (2) the deductive reasoning in entiphat in the expository paragraph turns out the student's average score of 80.48%.   Keywords: reasoning, exposur

Penulisan artikel ilmiah ini berkaitan dengan profesionalitas guru yang ditunjukkan melalui penelitian yang hasil akhirnya diterbitkan di jurnal ilmiah. Kendala yang sering diutarakan oleh guru yaitu kesulitan menemukan topik penulisan, penulisan dan aturan sesuai format jurnal ilmiah, sistem pengiriman atau publikasi pada Open Jurnal System (OJS) Versi 2 dan 3.
